So last time we went to an interesting event that introduces us to Australia's fruits! As you know, there are fruits that can't be grown in Indonesia because it needs 4 seasons, so they're imported from overseas and Australia offers some of the best quality fruits, which means it contains the best nutrients and also taste. The reason this topic is brought up is also because Indonesians have nowadays realize the importance of a healthy lifestyle! We also notice that from how a lot of granola and muesli related meals have been popular as well!

Before we became a blogger, where we eat depends on what area we're in but now is the other way around. We always decide where to go depends on what restaurant we wanted to visit and that is why we finally set foot on Lippo Kuningan! Yes, we've never been here before and even just knew about this building..lol! Located right next to Setiabudi One building (where St. Ali is located) and we're able to made it there safely because of GPS haha!

Hello from the 56th floor!! :p Just so you know, SKYE here is 1 of my favorite rooftop dining spot because it's pretty spacey with a great pool and an amazing view whether in the night or day! Well, we realize that there're a lot of rooftop dinings in Jakarta but not many has a view as cool as this!

Ready for something a bit further from Jakarta? Lol! Yes, the coffee fever is spreading and this time it hits Sunter! Located at a residence, this place might be a bit hard to find, since the one at Waze is actually not that acurate but don't worry, you can still use the direction given but after the Waze app said that you've arrived, continue straight until you find the place on your right! Don't worry about not seeing it because they have a huge sign called Atomic Espresso Bar!

This coffee shop is really different because it's built from a residence, so it really looks like an actual house! I don't know if it's from the owner's house or was it bought to become a coffee shop from the start, all I know is that it literally a house with gates and more indoor space, only 1 outdoor table and it's way too exposed to sunlight!

Another thing that makes this place different is that coffee shops nowadays usually inhabited a minimalist interior with wooden furniture but not here! This place looks more of a night life cafe!

Instead of wood, they have this black and red table, which is why I said it's a night cafe..lol!

They offer some cakes and pastries, like quiches or brownies or croissants. Too bad stuff like fries or chicken wing is not available yet!

Ta-dah! Look at it's indoors! Very unlike those typical coffee shops, right? Got me lost for words and totally amazed that they dared to do this kind of concept!

When I came here, there're not many customers around, which is good for a me time! Very cozy and each table is somewhat divided, so you'll have more privacy!

So this is a first time, darts in a coffee shop..lol!

This here is they're iconic tables! Cool, huh?

News flash! All the beverages here cost only IDR 25K, yes, all of them! Don't know if it's somekind of a promotion or is it they're actual price!

Loved it!! Perfectly balanced sweetness and the color isn't like the usual purple taro latte but more of a pinkish purple. Better drink up while it's still warm or just get the iced one instead!

That espresso cubes kind of beverage that has been popular these days! It's a better way to serve ice latte and this is also 1 of their best sellers after the unicorn!

Trust me when I say this is 1 of the best quiche I've ever tasted! Especially eaten while it's still warm..heaven! Well, it's no wonder, since the person behind the quiche is a London's Le Cordon Bleu student called Chef Mesa Tristianto!

Super generous amount of chicken with perfect pie crust texture! Yum!

Can you believe that all the brownies here cost only IDR 10K? Everything here is just super affordable! What's better is that they offer vege brownies!

First up is the Original, which is already super yummy in my opinion! Just picture a crispy outer with moist cake and melted chocolate inside! I'm drooling as I'm writing this!

Next is the Red Velvet Cream Cheese. Now this here is the vege brownies, though I don't understand how is that possible and too bad I didn't try this! Wonder what difference they have!

This Chocolate Brownies is also incredible! Just look at that shining chocolate ganache that melts in your mouth!! Perfection!

Not trying to advertise this but this place is truly amazing! Totally a must try if you're in the area. The only down side and a fatal one that is about this is the location...it's way too far from home! It's also new and hasn't been exposed that much yet but with the quality they offer, it's just a shame that people don't know about the place! If only it's in the West area, I'd definitely be a loyal customer!

So who's in the mood for some seafood?! The seafood we're talking about today isn't the usual ones though, since it's local's and more of a traditional family type of seafood. Where we had it is at Puang Oca, located at Lapangan Tembak, Senayan!

I personally think this would be the perfect place for a family dinner cause the foods are more of a traditional kind that everybody will love! Obviously specializing in Makassar's cuisine, which is literally written on the sign board. The place is also pretty simple and old-fashioned, just the type of place that our parents would frequent to! Fyi, there's also some VIP rooms that you can get into with a minimum purchase and there're ones with karaoke machines that we can use..lol!

So pysched that they have STMJ here! For those who don't know, it's a combination of condensed milk, egg, honey, and ginger. A great herbal beverage to soothe and warm you up! Fell in love with this from the first time I tried it!

These are their speciality drinks that you just have to try when you come here! Their Healthy Juice and Barley Choco for the thirst-quenching colf drinks!

And Kopi Jendral for the hot ones! This here is actually coffee with sweet egg foam on top of it! Unique, huh? Which is why you gotta try it!

When it comes to Indonesian food, sambal is a must! This Sambal Mix is Makassar's special signature when it comes to seafood and another perk of this is that it's free!

You can either use it individually or you can mix it up. I personally prefer to mix it all up to get that burst of flavor sensation!

A crispy way to start your meal! This could either be an appetizer, snack, or side dish and everybody would definitely love it, I mean, who wouldn't like a decent fried foods? It comes with a dipping sauce but I prefer to use the sambal mix for this!

It's your first time hearing the name? Yeah, me too..lol! I don't think I've ever tried it as well, since it's actually a rare breed from Makassar. The taste is definitely unfamiliar for me. There' a hint of bitterness in this but it's not something the sauce can't fix! Again, I'd dip it to the sambal mix instead!

This serving is only for photo purpose, it's not really served like this. Usually they'd put the fish inside the soup like how normally soup dishes are served, so don't be misleaded! This tumeric based soup is pretty tangy, which will freshen up your meal when paired with other heavy and oily dishes! Plus rhe fish is already boneless! Who can ever deny a boneless fish? I know I can't!

Yes, this is a very traditional dish but it's either you love it or you just hate it. For us, we personally hate it with passion..lol! Well not really but it's just way too bitter for us and that's all we can taste from this and we won't be having a second bite, thank you very much! :p

It confuses me to no end of why people would cook prawns with it's skin still intact! Because all the sauce will be on the skin that you're going to peel of and you'd be left with almost no sauce on the meat and you need to get your hands dirty as well! Why not just cook it without the skin? But anyways, I'm glad that in this case the meat surprisingly absorbs the sauce well, so even the meat os pretty flavorful and fresh too!

This is definitely my number 1 favorite here! If only eating crabs isn't a very hard and inconvenient thing to do, I think I can even finish this of by myself! Oh the cholesterols...lol! But seriously, this is a must have item here!

Guess this would be my number 2. Cooked with sambal rica, also known as 1 of my favorite sambal. The fish also has that perfect not too soft texture for the rica! Total love! Be warned that it could get a bit hot though!

Something to help you cool off the hotness from the dish before! :p Nothing says Indonesian cuisine without a nice shaved ice dessert! A dessert filled with ice, syrup, jelly, and bananas is sure to be a sweet ending!

So, do you think you can picture a nice family dinner here? We know we can! Most of the dishes here is definitely something that'll suit most of us Indonesian's taste! Especially for those traditional seafood loving people! Though the price might be a bit over the budget but the quality here is surely promising!
