DINING WITH THE STAR - BENGAWAN RESTAURANT AT KERATON JAKARTA


Still on the series of mouthwatering courses with these executive chefs! This time it's Keraton's Indonesian specialty at Bengawan Restaurant by Chef Rafa!


Just reading the description has made me drooling inside! 



ROASTED LAMB LOIN IDR 398.000 nett
with sambal kecap, rice cake, and pickles

Let's go with the first one! Neatly decorated and plated, this heavenly tender lamb loin is a gastronomical experience of a classic Indonesian heritage kambing guling with lontong, elevated to a whole new level!


Look at this beautiful presentation!


When I said "neat", it is.


Everything tasted so nice! I tried biting it with all the layers of pickles, carbs, and meat resulting in perfect harmony of taste. Spicy, sweet, and absolutely emanating with aroma!


Perfectly pink. Love it tender!

with 2 textures of buntut

This. is. the. bomb.


I asked them what was the bubble on top of the ribs, and they answered it with a simple, yet intriguing phrase: sop buntut. Alright, you've caught my interest there! Let's find out!!


2 textures of both: Oxtail and Ribs. Chewy and tender in one plate!


Served with gourmet oxtail fried rice with a crispy surprise!


Don't let the looks fool you, this one tastes nowhere near basic!
